There are 20 different surgical procedures for reducing and lifting breasts. Preference is given to procedures that produce the least scars, preserve sensation in the nippels and maintain the ability to breast feed. - Getting back to normal including being able to do sports: 4 – 6 weeks. Patients are recommended to wear a sports bra after the surgery for one month. This helps to support and compress the breasts which gently helps to reduce swelling.
